Up for bid is a 1965 Mustang Fastback, factory 6 cylinder 3 speed, that needs a full restoration. It is in pretty good shape for it's age as the quarters only need the bottom patch panels and the frame rails are perfect. The front floor pans have previously been replaced but are in need of replacing again, not sure of who did the work or how long ago, but it wasn't a very good job, also the hood and drivers door will need replacing. The car appears to have been in an accident at some point in it's life as the passenger side dash has a bend in it and the door jam is bent in against it a little, ( please view picture provided ), the damage appears minimal as all body lines line up and the door opens and closes fine. I purchased this car a few years ago from a friend of mine with intentions of putting a fuel injected 302 and five speed in it, but just have to many projects. The car was a running driving car up until about 6 or 7 years ago when my friend decided to change the fuel tank and never got it running again after he pulled it out, there is a new fuel tank in the trunk but I do not know what happened to the pick up and sending unit. The car has also been converted over to five lug suspension at some point.The only other thing that I can think of is that the fastback sail panel is missing on the drivers side other then that the car is mostly complete. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up and/or all delivery fees and arrangements. I do not use paypal, payment can be made in cash upon pick up unless other arrangements are made.
