This is a relisting of the E30 due to it ending at 3:30am. Accidentally clicked start now instead of schedule last time, I'm also starting with no reserve and a lower start price. I'm selling my 1986 BMW E30. I just purchased it as a second car to modify last week, then the transmission on my daily driver went out the next day. So, I'm out of luck and have to sell this. I had been looking for one with a really nice rust free body and good interior for under $3000.00 and this is the best I have found in over six months of searching. I bought it from a local husband and wife. The husband said it had a slight miss and he wanted to tune it up for her. He bought her 2 new tires, 5 quarts of oil, new windshield wipers, oil filter, distributor, ignition coil, and spark plugs. He changed the plugs and the misfire was gone and it ran flawlessly. He then changed the ignition coil and distributor because Auto Zone wouldn't accept returns on electrical parts. Then he couldn't get it to start. He said prior to the tune up, the motor made no sounds, the transmission shifted perfect, and the A/C and heat both worked great, cruise control worked, and windows worked. None of the windows seem to roll down but he said that is because the switches are vacuum controlled and it has to have been running for the switches to work. I tested the blower and it ran quietly. The air vent selector works properly as well. Headliner and seats are really nice. carpet cleaned up pretty good. Car has the original jack and spare tire as well with a rim that matches the other 4. The 4 tires are as follows: 2 are around 80% tread, 1 is about 50% and one is about 20%. All suffer from minor cracking, but all hold air well. The car comes with a Haynes manual, 2 brand new tires with stickers on them, (still unmounted), 5 quarts of new oil, a filter, 2 new wipers, and a few BMW tools in a little set in the trunk. As long as I have waited to find one this clean I would love to keep it and take it to car shows. Unfortunately I need money to fix my daily driver to get to my brothers wedding in Seattle WA. There are couple small dings, but with the exception of some clear coat issues, the paint is really nice for a 28yr old car. The interior is clean, cleanest of any E30 I have seen (and I have looked at 20-30). Just got the code from BMW and now the radio and tape deck both work. I was told by the previous owners husband that the car has never been wrecked and to my knowledge this is true, but feel free to check carfax or autocheck because I have no way to verify this. I am starting this at $1000.00 which is a little over 1/3 of what I have in it. Please don't bid if you don't have the money on hand. I am only selling this because I need the cash quick. Vehicle can be delivered for $1.75 per loaded mile as long as the deposit has been paid up front. If it is over 150 miles delivery fee must be added to the deposit. ($1.75 per loaded mile whether it is across town or in Canada, doesn't really matter to me.)
