Up for grabs is an amazing opportunity to own a rare example of a 1970 Mach 1. This Mach is equipped with its original 351 Windsor, original FMX transmission, original 9" rear end, and is equipped with factory power steering. It was restored in 1991 at Mustang Ranch in Santa Clara California. While being restored it was painted the factory Calypso Coral and the seats were reupholstered with factory vermillion vinyl. This car is looking the same or better as the day it hit the dealer floor. The 351 runs like a champ with no mechanical issues and is even equipped with factory air which was extremely rare for this make and model. It currently has 95,194 original miles which is subject to change by 10-100 depending on the duration of this listing. I've been over this car numerous times and have yet to find a speck of rust. The body is straight as an arrow and clean from wheel to roof. All of the weather stripping has been replaced within the last 5 years. It has also been upgraded with a new set of Magnum 500's wrapped with some nearly new BFGoodrich Radials. I am the 3rd owner, the 1st lived in Texas, the 2nd lived in California. I had it shipped to me in Illinois and it has been garage kept and cared for by me for the past 5 years. Other than the a few minor issues such as the A/C not blowing cold air and the radio needing an antenna this car is ready to drive any day at any time and probably outlast most of those new cars they are trying passing off these days. This beautiful Mach will not disappoint and the only reason I am selling it is to buy a '65-'68 Fastback. It will come with the original pink-slip and Marti Report showing it is 1 of 25 in existence.
