Thanks for taking a look at our 1972 Chevy C10 Short Bed Fleetside Pickup. This tasteful restoration and resto-mod upgrade combines the style of yesterday with the conveniences of today. This is the “last of the body style” 72 model with it’s sweet flowing curves and killer good looks. Next came a sea of boxes constricted by smog laws and 5 MPH Bumpers. The most desirable of the 1972 models is the 2 Wheel Drive Short Bed, Fleetside or Wide Bed with the coil spring suspension and wood bed. In this configuration, the shorty rides like a car, works like a truck and still fits nicely in the garage or parking spot at work. We wanted a great looking, dependable truck we could drive every day and not worry about exotic parts, overheating in hot traffic jams or midnight roadside repairs. By foregoing airbag suspension, C-notching the frame and the 30” wheels, this truck is as dependable as every other well cared for Chevrolet stuffed with new parts. That being said, she’s 43 now so comparisons to your new Cadillac aren’t really appropriate. Paint is Driver + quality but not a show truck.
