1971 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE Here is a nice convertible Corvette ready for summer cruising! This is a rare convertible with factory A/C. This car is a great example of a true driver quality. Although not perfect… this car would love to be driven regularly, and shown at local car shows. This Corvette is sporting the original, unmolested 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V-8 (5.7 L) engine making 270 horsepower The engine is very strong, and runs just as it should. The smooth shifting transmission is GM’s M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. The car shifts perfectly into every gear without any issues or problems. Factory options include: A/C – power windows – power steering – power brakes – am/fm radio – M40 automatic transmission. All gauges seem to work except the clock. The wipers are not operating at this time, and the driver’s side headlight door operates, but sticks a little. This Corvette is finished in GM paint code 973 (Mille Miglia Red), and black vinyl interior. It is fitted with the original GM 15” wheels with Goodyear Eagle ST P245/60R15 radial tires. The interior is in good shape showing normal wear for its age. The vinyl is in very good condition with no rips, tears or burns of any kind. The carpet is also in very good condition as well.
