Up for bid is a very nice 57 bel air with a built bbc a muncie 4 speed and a 12 bolt posi rear end. The car is not perfect but, is also not covering or hiding anything. It has the usual rust spots in the usual places for a 57 year old vehicle. The carpet is nice and the floors do have some small rust areas underneath. ( Not hanging or falling through by any means ) The trunk floor is solid and has spare and jack in place. The interior is in nice shape. The heater works as well as the dome light and even the horn. It seems to have the original key which one key fits all and locks up properly. The engine is fresh with less than 600 miles on a rebuild. Has great oil pressure no smoke or rattles. Has passenger heads, edelbrock aluminum intake and holley carb. car sounds awesome with headers and straight exhaust. Aluminum radiator with electric fan billet pulleys and chrome valve covers. It has stock fuel tank and electric fuel pump.The car has been done right and looks neat in the engine compartment as well as inside the car. The car has not been butchered up or cut on. It appears to have been done with very good quality and high performance parts. No disappointments with this one. Also the front end has been completely rebuilt with all new parts as well as the brakes and new clutch assemble. All glass is good except passenger door glass is cracked they do roll up and down properly. This car came factory with a 283 3 speed and as far as I can tell has always been black. The car is for sale locally and auction may end at any time before receiving a bid on the eBay listing. However, once a bid has been placed car will sell only through eBay. Also pictures of the engine compartment and a couple of the interior. I was told when I purchased this car it was a 468 with good rods forged pistons and roller cam. When we picked the car up the seller said his machine shop who had done the work for his dad said it was a stroked 496. The car sounds awesome and very strong. He had owned the car for several years and was the one who had removed the factory 283. The registration was dated back in the 70's. The car now has a clear Oklahoma title up to date in my name.
