You are biding on a 2 owner 1956 Chevy 2 door post V8 manual trans. Car was purchased by 2nd owner in 1978. It was repainted shortly after because he didn't like the original black and white colors. Paint does show chips,nicks,etc but shows good for age. The interior appears to be original. It will need carpet kit,front door panels(curled from getting wet),and correct rear package tray(has an old school fur covered one in it now. The body is in good shape for its age. I see rust thru in following areas. 3 floors braces,rear area by trunk latch(common from water),2 small holes in trunk pan,and drivers side rear back splash pan bottom behind tire. It has small bubbling on rear of drivers door lip and drivers headlight brow. These areas are all easily fixed. Doors shut very nice. All glass and trim are on car(drivers door glass is cracked).It has a good running v8 with factory 3 speed. The rear gear is unknown but it is a POSI. Brakes work good on car. The tires are old and I would replace. The exhaust is also old and has some soft spots in it. I would replace it with new coated exhaust. I replaced fuel tank,sending unit,and fuel pump. Car looks and runs good. It is getting hard to find tri fives that haven't been chopped up or basket cases. I can help arrange shipping anywhere in CONT US. Tx450,Ca650,Ny700,Fl650.
