Purchased out of California 15 years ago and never had time to get going on a full restoration, so it is time to clean out the garage. Engine was restored about 10 years ago by a local BMW motorcycle mechanic but never test ran but develops good compression. It has new piston, rings, valves, valve guides and seats. The connecting rod was upgraded to steel and crankshaft serviced. It was reassembled with new bearings, seals and gaskets. I am sure from sitting in the Arizona heat the cork gaskets will need to be replaced. The heat shield is not installed but included along with the heater flap. The carburetor will need to be built and is incomplete missing all internal components. The body is very complete and in good shape. All glass is included, but windshield has some chips etc. The floor around the battery has rusted out and a hole was cut into the package shelf for access to the engine all easily replaced. Transmission, chaincase, steering, voltage regulator, master cylinder and suspension are still installed in the car but are in unknown condition, since I did not get that far. I am also including the original seat, spare tire and original rubber floor mat. I have a clear Arizona title I will assist you with shipping the vehicle, but shipping is the buyers responsibility. I require a nonrefundable $500.00 payment via paypal within 3 days of the auctions conclusion. The remaining portion to be paid within 10 days via cash, bank transfer or certified funds.
