Vehicle Detail

I've had this bike for 2 years, broke it down to complete frame off restore. It's a total custom hard tail bolt on which I welded and molded into a one piece. I rebuilt the engine with all new parts - pistons valves springs everything (some pics included)... It runs great, starts on first kick. It's been upgraded to digital ignition and a Mikuni carb. These charging systems are notorious for being finicky with the digital ignition, so I've added a small motor sports battery to compensate and the headlight on a switch if you're going to be sitting idling for a long time. I've ridden it plenty, rides great behaves well. I did not put the taillight or handlebar grips on, as I would want to sort of pick out those for myself if I bought a chopper like this, and legally you don't have to have them here on older bikes, so I use hand signals. I have two sets of handlebars for it, you can pick which ones you want, you can't have both, they are pictured, the flat ones on the bike. I'm including two taillights you can have, an original triumph conical rear wheel, a box of parts and some tail pipes (from other bikes, I've had several of these, last one I plan to build). I have some other Triumph stuff you can have, a lot of the original parts. The front wheel isn't meant to be permanent, it's not even Triumph. The tire needs help, and the wheel axle isn't satisfactorily long enough for the springer, so it's not something I'd ride a thousand miles in one sitting, but it won't ever come loose unless the srpinger forks break (the way it's made). That's part of the reason I'm just including all my stuff on this bike, pick what you want and make it your own. It's ready to go as is, but you might be the type that wants to add your own touch. That rear wheel on it is worth about $500 by the way... I'm willing to negotiate doing work on it for you after you've bought it, if you want me to put taillight on, get a front wheel and tire (replacing it involves disassembling the forks sort of), or whatever. Not another one like this, I've never seen anyone mold a hard tail like this, which is why I did it. It's unique, pretty, sounds good, turns heads and most importantly - rides great and it's a lot of fun. Something about a springer hardtail that's just plain cool. Ready for summer! Ask any questions before bidding please, and this week I'll go through my stuff and lay all that's included out and take a pic for you. I'm selling because I have medical bills piling up, and am quitting bike building. My loss and poor health is your gain and good fortune! Feedback less than 5? CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR I'LL CANCEL IT!!! I DO NOT WANT TO LIST IT AGAIN, MY BILLS WILL NOT WAIT.On Mar-10-14 at 13:22:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention - the VIN is TR6SR DU23406 - You'll get a bill of sale.On Mar-12-14 at 14:53:24 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer several questions I've gotten - no, nothing wrong with it. I have ridden it plenty, the front forks where the axle bolts up is very thick on the springer, and the wheel I have on there doesn't have an axle long enough to put the axle nut all the way down - it's not a problem, realistically you could ride the bike forever with it this way. My reasoning is that someone will decide to go with spokes or a front which matches the back, which is why I've included the extra Triumph rear wheel I have as well. As for the engine, the carb, digital ignition plus all the new internals cost me about $1500 in parts. It starts first kick every time, and has about 300 miles on it since the rebuild. No, I will not consider selling the engine separately. Yes, you could hop on it today and ride off into the sunset. I'll post a video of it running tomorrow, the 13th. On Mar-13-14 at 18:36:31 PDT, seller added the following information: On Mar-15-14 at 17:56:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I cancelled the bid by the person with 3 feedback - as stated in the ad... Feedback less than 5? CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR I'LL CANCEL IT!!! This is to protect legitimate, serious buyers and myself from wasting time. No exceptions, contact me BEFORE bidding if you have less than 5 (FIVE) feedback.
