Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2008 BMW K1200S motorcycle. It is White Aluminum, and has the yellow rims. I am the original owner, and bought this bike with 2 miles on the odometer from A&S BMW in Roseville, California. It is in great shape, but I am selling it due to lack of riding since moving to Texas. I hate to see a motorcycle sit in a garage. They need to be ridden. As you can see from the miles, I have ridden this bike a fair amount. I commuted on it a lot in California. I would say 95% of the riding was on the freeway. All oil changes and services are documented. And the dog bone, timing chain, and brake reservoir recalls have been performed by dealer. As for what is on the bike..... new tires were installed in June of 2013. I had the dealer install the Ohlins front and rear suspension before I took initial delivery. The front and rear shocks were rebuilt by Ohlins in January 2013. The clutch was replaced by the dealer under warranty in 2009. I will include the BMW tank bag with the sale of the bike. The bike is completely functional, and I know of no issues with the motorcycle. She runs just as good as the day I bought her. Things included:Ohlins Suspension (front and rear)ZTechnik Dark Smoke ScreenFactory ABS brakesFactory Low seat optionBMC Air FiltersNew Front Brake Pads (Still in box)BMW Tank Bag Now for the bad. She was transported in the back of my pick up truck from California to Texas. My wife put an ice chest next to the bike, and the ice chest rubbed on the right fairing a little, and it rubbed the paint in a few spots. I had the paint matched, and bought some touch up paint to make it look better. But if you look closely, you will see where the touch up was done. Take a look at the pictures to see. The tires probably have 3000 more miles on them. The brake pads are good, but I ordered the front pads, just to have them ready. The pads will go with the sale of the bike. I have another oil filter and oil for an oil change. I will throw this in too. I will ship the bike to the winner at their expense, but the buyer needs to arrange pick up with me. If you are not in the U.S.A., please do not bother bidding. The Customs issues can be a hassle for both of us, and I don't speak any other language than English. And I don't want there to be any misunderstanding. The $500 deposit needs to be made within 48 hours. If deposit isn't made, I will assume you were not serious, and will re-list the bike. Thanks for looking, and good luck.
