I bought this last summer from the owner who has owned it since 1997. On the Autocheck he is the owner in Norman, Ok and Newport News, Va. I drove it all summer and towards the beginning of winter and now its time for me to get my wife a new car and the proceeds of this sale will go towards her down payment. Help my wife lower her future car payment by bidding often:) My Cobra is 21 years old and has 131k miles. It's not perfect, but it is very nice for its age. Has your typical dings, but far fewer than most. It gets compliments every where it goes. I'll start with its flaws…it needs a new headliner. power door locks do not work. rear bumper clear coat peel. front bumper has a scrape. ashtray door is broken. front seat has some wear. I would describe it as a very nice driver. There is no rust under the car, doors, trunk, etc…. It is not undercoated and there are no surprises. All VIN tags are on the car. I installed a low mile 5.0 with machine shop fresh gt40 irons with upgraded springs, Ferrea 1.94" intake valve, all new gaskets, arp head bolts, etc… Runs like a dream! This can be driven daily or as a weekend cruiser. I would not hesitate to drive this cross country. I just replaced the heater core and it has hot heat and cold ac. Shifts with no grinds. Smog pump is on the car unlike most and has a BBK X pipe with catalytic convertors and MAC exhaust. Stock cats were rattling. Has Ford Motorsport lowering springs. You will be hard pressed to find a non restored fox Mustang in this condition! Please ask lots of questions and i can forward you any pics you need. Whomever buys my Cobra is getting a nice car that is a solid base to turn it into the Cobra of your dreams. I will continue to update this listing as I recall specifics.
