I got this car on a mechanic's lien. This car has been on the road with a NYS rebuilt salvage title since 1999. But now that I tried to get a title with the lien papers, New York State decided that they won't give me a title unless I spend another 200 bucks for a salvage inspection. Since its a possibility that someone from outside NYS will buy the car and not have to go through the BS that NYS puts you through, I decided not to spend the 200 bucks. The car comes with a 907A NYS salvage certificate that can be used in many states to register the car without having to go through a salvage inspection.
