Up for auction is a 1951 Ford F1 short bed with a flathead v8 engine that runs so good at idle you can't hear it run. Frame off restoration was started 4 years ago, I bought the truck and finished it. The truck is a 3 speed on the column ,has been converted to a 12 volt system and the suspension has been redone along with new shocks. The paint is in very good condition...shines like new and the underneath has been detailed and painted. The Bed and tailgate are new as well as the chains and chain covers on the tailgate. New front and rear chrome bumpers and new running boards. Wood bed has been re-stained and a wooden bicycle holder has been placed in the bed if you want to keep or it can be taken out. The bicycle in the picture can be purchased for an additional $ 400.00 . New oak bed rails and new lights.. all gauges work ,new headliner, floor mat and the seat is in good condition. New inside door handles, new glass, and new rubbers around windows and doors. New Radial tires with atlas wide white walls ,new ribbed trim rings, and new center caps . This truck is a eye catcher and shows well. Good truck for cruising, parades or just going to shows.
