Vehicle Detail
This 1975 Triumph TR6 is more than 80% complete in a body off restoration. I have 100s of pictures of the cur during restoration so you can be sure of the condition. There is no rust in the car and the majority of parts have been replaced with new. The complete brake system is new including wheel cylinders, master cylinder and booster. The body mounts are new and all rubber seals are new including the windshield rubber. I have had a complete transmission, clutch, pressure plate replacement with a Toyota 5-speed conversion kit. The transmission shifts smooth and allows the engine to rev slower at highway speeds. This is one of the best kits for the Triumph TR6. I also have all the original drive train parts that are in great working order. The engine runs smooth and pulls strong with completely rebuilt carbs. The dash has been replaced and new gauges were used in place of the old Smiths gauges except for the tach and speedometer. The engine has an electronic module replacing the troublesome points and condenser and the alternator has been replaced with a Delco conversion kit. Again the original parts are in boxes. There are just too many new parts to list here. I have about $10,000 invested in the car restoration. I also have complete car manuals for the TR6. What is left to do is replace the convertible top, door inside panels and kick panels. I do have a complete carpet kit still in the box, a stereo system with speakers still in a box, new door handles and many other parts. You are welcome to test drive the car if you want, or I will send a video of the car running if you can not test drive. It runs flawlessly. I am retiring and have moved to a new home and do not have the room to keep or continue this restoration. With a little work you can be driving a classic car. Parts are readily available from a couple of excellent suppliers in the USA that deal specifically with Triumphs and MGs. I have many receipts for the parts.
