For sale is my 1982 RS. I am the original owner. This is a two owner machine,as I sold it in 1996,but bought it back in 1997. I missed it too much! But now health issues dictate that it must be passed on. This BMW has carried us near and far,never letting us down. It has been to Canada 6 times, out to Colorado for the MOA National. It has been on ferrys,trains. It has propelled us on two 24 hour 1000 miles trips. It even took us on one 1541 mile trip in 26 hours. Can't do that anymore! It was originally red smoke in color,but to be honest,the factory paint was lacking in quality. I had it repainted in 2000, and it's a much higher quality. The pin striping was done by a talented local guy. The only mechanical I am aware of are the carbs. They have been rebuilt,but need to be balanced. Details: Paint (quite expensive!) is Cadillac White Diamond Pearl.
