My beloved Audi, formerly known as the Red Racer, has a blown turbo. I spent significant amount of money on the car in 2013 with the intention of driving the car for another 18 months, then giving it to my son at 16. In 2013 I purchased, tires, brakes, paint, serpentine belt and throttle body. The car passed emissions in 2014. Prior to the turbo blow, the car ran great. Per the mechanic, the repair cost for the turbos could be up to $4,500. To replace the turbos, the engine needs to be pulled. I envision the purchasers will have strong mechanical knowledge and be able to complete the repair themselves or have the inclination to part out the car. Feel free to ask any questions. Condition: 2013 maintenance: new tires, brakes, paint, serpentine belt, throttle body. 2014: passed emissions Issues: blown turbo - not currently drivable, small tears in backseat leather. Body is in great condition, small dent in hood. History: Bought in Boulder, CO 2007, not original owner.
