I have for sale by auction a 1969 Honda motorcycle, model CL450 Scrambler. This Honda runs very nicely. I had it out last summer and it ran great. I have not ridden it this year because our weather has been bad. I did start it in the shop where it is stored. It starts and idles great. There aren't any oil leaks, and it doesn't smoke at all. The tires are old and should be replaced. The tires do hold air, and I have ridden the bike on short trips down the road. This bike has set more than it was ridden. It has under 9k miles on the clock. It still seems to be in good tune. It will need some work as any old vintage motorcycle would. Some things that need worked on include the gas line, tires, oil changed, battery replacement, chain oiled, mirrors replaced, and brakes checked. The brakes seemed to work fine for me. It looks to be all original as it was made, other than the paint. The inside of the fuel tank is very clean, however the tank has right side damage as you can see in the picture. I looked at the exhaust and it looks good. There aren't any rust holes underneath or anywhere. There is some rust on it but not heavy. I do not know of anything that doesn't work such as gauges, lights, horn, turn markers and things like that. I know I used the electric start last summer when the battery was good and it worked fine. It will need a new battery as the one that was in it last summer wasn't any good. It's old, but this is a good old Honda that would make a great restore project. Or, if nothing else, it just needs a good paint job. There is a good Ohio title in my name for this old Honda. Please note this is an old motorcycle; it is not perfect. It has bumps and scratches. If there is anything you need to know just ask and I will get back to you as soon as I can. One other thing I did is get the engine number CL450E 1011577. Buyer is responsible for pickup. I am pretty open on way of payment. Cash at pickup is best for me. I don't take Paypal on a titled motorcycle. Thanks!
