1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle Karmen Convertible Fun in the sun and enjoy the summer cruise-ins with this nice little Marina Blue convertible. Car runs and transmission shifts fine with no issues or noises. The convertible top is in excellent condition and comes with a tonneau cover. The car has had one repaint in its life staying with the original color. Paint work was done about 10 years ago and I would call it an average paint job that shows well for a driver quality car. Body is in normal driver condition with some small chips and one small dent on right front fender. Floor pans were replaced and sealed. 1600cc motor with 4-speed manual transmission New items recently replaced: Plugs, plug wires, New SVDA Distributor, new 34 pic Bocar carburetor, muffler and chrome exhaust tips, brakes redone with new shoes, hoses and cylinders, all new front end bushings, new front and rear chrome bumpers, headlamp bezels, trunk carpet and voltage regulator. Recent oil change and valve adjustment. Car is ready to enjoy. New parts that go with car: Signal lamp base mount gaskets,new carpet and padding,new fuel pump (Extra), pump rod and gasket, chrome side mirrors, original type radio as one in car is not working, extra wheel hub caps, trunk and deck lid seals and many other new parts.I have copies of receipts from parts and work and even original owners manual, sales brochure and maintence books. Car is for sale in the United States only. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction early if it sells. A $1000.00 deposit due at end of auction by winning bidder.
