1951 PLYMOUTH CONVERTABLE I am a person with a few nice cars in his collection but find it is time to sell as Iam now 73. 1951 Plymouth Convertible I purchased the car from the son of the original buyer who purchased it back in 1951. It was re painted a few years ago and looks great but for a few runs under the head light but can be rubbed out. as you can see in the photos it looks great. The bumpers have been re chromed however some of the ornaments have some pitting. The engine runs good but I believe it is a little tired as it has 120,000 I assume as the odometer has 20,000. The transmission shifts well with no problems. The brake cylinders have been rebuilt however it pulls to right as the right front shoes were soaked with brake fluid prior to rebuilding the cylinders. Not to wory as I have two new sets of front brake shoes ready to install. The vin is the number on the engine not the door jam. It was this way on the original title so I believe California did it that way back in the 50s. I have listed this car in a 10 day auction so as to give someone a chance to come out and inspect prior to bidding. Please write with any questions. I will require the high bidder to make a $500 deposit by Paypal Within 3 days of auction end and the balance by cashier check to be received prior to 5 days of auction end and 5 days prior to pickup.
