Vehicle Detail

1999 Dodge Ram 2500, 24V Cummins Diesel, 2WD, Long Bed/Box. Factory equipped with: Automatic Tranny, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, A/C, Cruise Control, Tow Package, ABS, Driver/Passenger Air Bags, and Bedliner. I upgraded the factory side views with Power/Heated Tow Mirrors ($280). Truck is very solid with only minor imperfections and usual wear. Shows very well for its age. Runs and drives AMAZING! Everything works as should: locks, lights, brakes, a/c, heat, interior lights, gauges, etc. Way more truck than I've ever needed, but I've always liked the look of these Rams. Properly maintained and adult owned/driven. Recently installed (less than 2 mos): NEW Diesel Auto Power VP44 injection pump ($1000) with warranty. BD Diesel "Stealth Plate" ($65). NEW AirDog II 165 Lift Pump with Adjustable Regulator ($700) Lifetime Warranty. This is a "top of the line" complete fuel system from front to back, including larger fuel lines and in-tank module. This is THE backbone of any diesel truck. AFE Intake with NEW filter & Pre-filter ($320). Edge Performance Juice with Attitude ($600). This provides you with 5 fully adjustable settings of various HP & TQ, plus full accurate readings of fuel pressure, oil pressure, boost, egt, etc. I use it on the "mileage" setting and is capable of 475+ miles per tank full!! That's $2685 in upgrades alone!!! Has been driven less than 1000 miles since upgrades. The truck is lifted approximately 3", Using Daystar 2 1/2" Spacers ($120) up front and traditional lift blocks/u-bolts for the rear ($100). I wanted it taller but there aren't many lift options for this truck. Complete front suspension rebuilt using MOOG Upper/Lower Ball Joints, Outer Tie Rod Ends, Idler & Pitman Arms, and Explorer Pro Comp Shocks rated for the weight of the truck. New Moog Inner & Outer wheel bearings (all $750). New Mopar Rotors and Pads about 1yr ago. 17"x9" XD Black Addict Wheels ($650) with Nitto Terra Grapplers 305/70/17's (decent tread left, about 30%). Gets a lot of compliments and mistaken for a 4WD. New Radiator & High Flow Water Pump with hoses ($250) about 6 months ago. New Alternator ($165) about 6 mos. New Belt ($40) 6 mos. New Belt Tensioner ($90) 6 mos. These parts were not changed because they were faulty or damaged, but because I wanted as fresh a motor/truck as possible. Dash and bezel have been modified to accept a dual-din head unit. Presently installed is a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD with remote & back-up camera ($400). Front & rear doors have been completely Dynamat'd inside door skin and behind door panel. Rear wall also Dynamat'd. HUGE improvement in sound quality and major reduction in road noise and heat ($450). Clifford G5 Intelliguard 750 with Remote Start & Perimeter Sensor ($500). BONUS:: Included but not pictured, Pro Box "00-DX-2-10-DF", Rhino Liner type coated, Down-firing, Sealed, Sub-woofer Enclosure for two 10" drivers (woofers not included). This enclosure is specifically designed for these trucks, taking advantage of the space underneath the rear seat. This sub enclosure provides more than enough bass for ANY music or car audio enthusiast. Very nice tints. Door panels are in great shape as are the seats with the exception of some splitting on the drivers seat cushion (typical for these trucks). The dash is also cracked, very typical, but has a soft cover that hides it. Never got around to replacing it as I wanted an OEM dash not an overlay. The carpet was removed because of a huge coffee stain (bought this way) that never steamed out. Wanted to finish the sound-deadening then install the rubber floor of the work trucks. Stock interiors.com has the vinyl floor for $135 or the carpet for $150. With Husky Liners or Weathertechs...you can't see the floor anyway. I've basically de-chromed the truck. Swapped out the chrome grill, front & back bumpers for black ones. They're in primer coat. I wanted to spray them with bed-liner material. Two NEW Bosch 900+ cca Batteries ($260) 1 mos. Interior lights are upgraded to super bright LED pads as well as the underhood light. They provide more than enough light to see everything in side and under the hood. Headlight bulbs upgraded to Hi/Low Beam 6000k HID's with independent wiring harness (this isolates the HID kit from the trucks original wiring) & 3000K (yellow) HID Fog lights also with independent harness. This prevents any blown fuses or shorting of wires as commonly happens with inferior HID kits. Will also include the original headlights/corner lights that came with the truck when I purchased it. It has a CLEAN TITLE (TX & FL) & recent CarFax in hand. Truck came with a baseball sized dent on the front left fender. I replaced it with a factory original because it required bondo to repair. No thanks on that. The passenger side has a small dent (approx 2"x4") on the rear right corner of cab that pulled the molding off (it's in the glove box) and some light scratching, small dents and a 1" tear on the wheel well. Sounds worse than it looks, I'm just being critical. Rear right quarter of the bed by the tail light has some small denting...ALL courtesy of a valet driver and a multi-level parking lot. It didn't fit. It was major to me, but it barely shows in pictures. Never had it repaired due to fighting with the property management company/valet. I didn't want a claim on my insurance. Paint shines well (as pictured) with a good wash but does have some minimal fading on the driver's side. Can be easily buffed to an amazing finish. All damage and imperfections can easily be repaired and relatively inexpensively. Originally a Texas truck, I'm the third owner. The first owner purchased 6/99 and had it for 3 years/50,551mi. 2nd owner purchased 6/02 and had it for 2yrs 10mos/38,398mi. I purchased 12/05 with 121,530mi. Truck presently has 192,670mi. That's 71,140mi to date, at less than 9000mi per year. I baby this truck. Have all receipts for everything purchased plus paperwork, some boxes, instructions, etc. Yes, it's an older truck, but I'll go toe to toe with any newer truck out there. They may be nicer, but this girl is a solid, classic, dependable work horse. If you're familiar with these Rams, then you know this is a great deal. I wish she were perfect all around but having her 100% mechanically sound is far more important to me. Dents and scratches can be easily fixed. Truck is listed locally on Craigslist as well and can be removed from Ebay at any time. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Specific pictures available upon request. $500 Deposit due within 24 hours via Paypal. Complete balance due within 72 hours via Certified Cashiers Check from Chase Bank or BBT. Buyer responsible for shipping/transport or pick up if in person.PRICED TO SELL! I've priced the truck accordingly. Take note..other trucks in this price range, and more, may look better but will still have the factory "designed to fail" fuel system. For what this truck is lacking, it supersedes in function. I apologize for the long description, but I want you to see the truck as I see it. I never planned on selling it, as you can see from the mods and recent upgrades, but I want to marry my girlfriend and adopt her son. This sale will pay for that and a great trip for the three of us. Hope you like my truck! ANOTHER BONUS: I will include a molded overlay for the dash! Lifetime Warranty!! Black or Gray, your choice.
