You are looking at a 2006 Porsche Carrera with upgrades to the S package. This is a rare low mileage performance car in excellent condition and destined to be the next "collectable" after the famed 993. Keith Martin's Sport Car Market 2014 Pocket Price Guide indicates the value to be $40,000-$50,000. Purhased in May 2013 with only one previous owner from a dealership in NJ. Additions to the car include the following: Professionally lowered and stiffened suspension- no rubbing HRE two piece custom chrome with gray spoke wheels Ceramic brakes with upgraded yellow calipers- substantial wear remaining High-speed performance Pirelli Zero Nero low profile 245/30 20" fronts & 325/25 20" rears K&N cold air intakeThe color combination is the unusual color of Midnight Blue (appears blueish purple, dark blue or black depending upon the light) over buckskin tan interior in near perfect condition (seat bolster on driver's side is unmolested) and plastic film is still under floor mats. There are no dings, scuffs, and Bose Premium Sound system works flawlessly. Tires have 90% tread or better. Normal brake wear. Expected small chipping along front valance. Aligned and drives straight. 6-speed manual shifts wonderfully. Engine lets loose with a deep howl when placed in "Sport Mode " from the chrome dual exhaust. This car has been well maintained and never driven hard or in harsh weather. Serviced in December 2013 at local Porsche dealership with the following notes " battery seems low and may need replacing" (low on charge because it hasn't been driven- now on trickle charger, but was replaced in August, " cooling system to be serviced," "wiper blades need replacing,"driver's window switch slow" (note window switch was slow because battery was low, but works as normal). Estimated cost of upgrades $10,000-$12,000- wheels, brakes, tires etc. The car was purchased through the dealer in NJ and now being sold to make room for another car. Seller to help with logistics of PPI. Shipping assistance to buyer will be provided. Title is held by local credit union and will be released through them once payment is made. On Jan-25-14 at 12:36:20 PST, seller added the following information: The car was fully detailed in mid-December and has only been lightly driven since. After completion of sale, the car will be gone over again so buyer can expect a very clean car ready to enjoy.
