Vehicle Detail
This is a 2002 Triumph Daytona 955i. It’s a fuel injected, 955cc, 149 horsepower sportbike. It has 15869 miles on it and runs perfectly. It has a rebuilt salvage title. I bought it a few years ago from a dealer in Lincoln, Nebraska. He got it at an insurance auction where it was sold as a theft recovery. The only damage to it was the ignition lock had been broken, and something used to start it. I bought a complete lock set on Ebay, which consisted of locking gas cap, lock for the underseat compartment, and of course the ignition lock. It started right up and runs like a champ. I put nice anodized levers on it, did away with the license plate holder and replaced it with nice aluminum piece, which incorporates the turn signals. It has a Jardine pipe, a zero gravity tinted wind shield, a rear wheel hugger, and a rear seat cowl which I had painted to match the Caspian Blue paint. I also have a K&N filter under the tank, and I did away with the nasty plastic quick disconnects for the gas tank, and replaced them with stainless steel parts. Much better. It has a really nice two tone seat cover, and tank pad. I changed the oil and filter about 100 miles ago, using Shell Rotella. I have never redlined this machine. I'm selling it because I'm now 54, and my back and arms can't take it any more. This will come with a battery tender, the rear seat, and original levers. Tires are in good shape and still have many miles left on them. Good luck bidding.
