up for auction is a very rare 59 rambler station wagon, this is a very rare model that has a single headlight on each side. most have dual headlights! it is an old government car. on the doors it says ( US GOVERNMENT FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY INTERANGENCY MOTOR POOL) this car has all original paint! very very nice patina! the body is very very solid! fenders, doors, rockers, rear quarters, tailgate are all solid. the motor is a 196 ci 6 cylinder with a 3 on the tree. motor is NOT running and condition is unknown! has been sitting many years. the car also has a factory posi rear end that still has the factory posi trac tag on it. I do have 2 original hubcaps. car needs front drivers side floor pan replaced. rear pans and the rear of the wagon look solid. the engine compartment looks solid also. int is original 59 so needs some work. this is the same year rambler wagon that the world famous gas monkey garage had on the show, which sold for 35,000. obviously not the same car! this car is a true survivor and the body is very solid! this would make a very cool rat rod or resto project. again a very rare rambler with the single headlights!
