For sale is a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid. It is very fuel efficient, runs and drives and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.3L four cylinder electric/gas engine purrs along without a miss, smoke or fluid loss. There are display lights on the dash however the car is driving with no problems. The hybrid system is working perfectly. The hybrid battery is charging and assisting as necessary and the auto stop engages when stopped. The 5 speed manual transmission is shifting smoothly with plenty of clutch. The brakes, suspension and steering seem normal. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is average condition silver. There are no major dents or dings. The two noticable blemishes are a crack on the lower windshield and ding on the right rear bumper (see pics). The lights and lenses are bright with no cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 50% tread (see pic). A complete waxing would not hurt. The interior is dark gray. There are no wear areas on the cloth seats but there are some light stains visible after we cleaned. Same with the carpet. Not exactly spotless. The power options such as cruise control, windows, side mirrors, etc. work as designed. There is a factory sound system with CD. The heat is hot and the AC blows cold. This is a nice car for the person who demands fuel efficiency on a budget. The hybrid system coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission will average about 50 MPG. Similar to the newer hybrid models. Dispite the display lights, this vehicle seems to be driving without any problems. The new owner should be able to drive home with confidence. The Civic is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer.
