Vehicle Detail
This is a restoration I had done over 5 years ago. No expense was spared. It was a low hour bike to start with ,however everything was touched in the restoration process. I have described the bike below in detail , however if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Frame was in beautiful shape and was striped along with swingarm and tank. Then they were professionally painted with base coat / clear coat ppg automotive paint that was custom matched to the new plastics. New seat foam and seat cover New sprockets Suspension - I tried to keep the stock look but did end up upgrading the Forks to 43mm and Shocks are brand new Noleen rebuildable units which were just installed prior to listing the bike (Stock shocks were not rebuildable and were not that good anyway) Motor was gone through and all news seals, bearings, gaskets were installed. Motor was given a professional paint job as well (there is one spot you can see in the picture by the shifter where the paint came off. I originally installed a clear decal to protect the side cover and when removing a year later it removed a portion of the paint. Pretty easy fix though) New DG pipe painted black with matching DG silencer. Wheels were totally redone, hubs refurbished, rims reanodized and laced with new stainless spokes. Most of the hardware was replaced with OEM or was zinc coated Original bars were powdercoated satin black, and all new perches, perch covers, levers and grips were installed. My best guess is I have well over 5,500 into the bike not counting the endless hours of labor it took to tear the bike down, refinish and reassemble. This is probably as close to a new bike as you can get.I have reached a point in my life where I am down sizing my collection. Someone is going to get a very nice bike. Cosmetically beautiful and mechanically it runs excellent. SHIPPING: costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I dont mind holding the bike for a while once it is paid for. I realize it takes time to make shipping arrangements and I want to make this a stress free experience for the buyer. I do have a pretty good list of shippers I would be happy to pass on to you. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - I have several Over sea's Shipping services that I can refer you to that will crate and ship to countries like Australia, New Zealand, UK as well as other country's in Europe if you require those services. PAYMENT: this auction requires a small non-refundable deposit with the balance due within 7 days of the auction ending (unless other arrangements were made between seller and buyer prior to purchasing). I will accept the balance of payment in the following ways-Bank transfer, cash in person, Bank of America cashiers check or USPS money orders.
