Vehicle Detail

For sale is a race ready 2013 Zero S Electric Motorcycle with a bit of a racing pedigree. This bike was raced by AMA Pro Racer Ted Rich 26 in the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb as well as the North American FIM eRoadRacing Series at Laguna Seca and Indianapolis. Originally a 2013 Zero S ZF11.4, this bike has been extensively modified and tuned for better performance on the track. The bike has been setup with a small fairing in the front to improve aerodynamics, suspension has been tuned and racing slicks mounted. The seating position is more aggressive from stock with modified seat, handlebars and rear sets. It's also been safety wired and emergency cutoff installed as rules have required. The bike controller has been upgraded to a 660A Sevcon Size6 and the Z-Force 75-7 motor has been ventilated for better airflow and cooling. Performance is estimated to be comparable to the new 2014 Zero SR (zeromotorcycles.com/zero-s/sr.php) with an estimated 67hp with 106ft-lbs of torque although this has not been verified on a dyno. This bike is all ready to go for anyone interested in racing electric. These bikes have been racing with AFM, AHRMA, FIM, IoMTT, PPIHC, M1GP and others so there are plenty of opportunities to get some competitive track time in. It would cost at least $20k to buy a bike and race prep it to this level. Or just install lights, turn signals and horn to make it street legal again. This is also a great deal for anyone looking for an electric drivetrain for their project motorcycle, trike, go kart, or small vehicle. I would not recommend anyone purchase this intending to restore it to stock as some modifications have been made that would make it challenging at the very least. We want to make it clear that this bike has been RACED and even CRASHED a few times. This bike has never been registered. California buyers must pay tax and title, out of state buyers will receive the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin. Any questions, feel free to contact Hollywood Electrics at 323.654.8271.
