Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1966 AMC American Rambler, it’s equipped with it’s original 199cui Inline 6 cylinder and backed by the original automatic transmission. I am the second owner of this car. I drive it everyday, it’s fuel economy is great. In 1966 this car had the best fuel economy out of any US manufactured car. I really enjoy driving it but I need a pickup truck now. I bought it in September it’s been a Florida car it’s entire life. Since September I replaced the floor boards on the driver and passenger side. I replaced the front bench seat with low back buckets. I had the buckets and back seat professionally reupholstered. I could not find stamped carpet for this car so I laid the carpet myself, it’s not perfect but it turned out okay. Tires are brand new New Wheel bearings Plugs, cap and rotor, battery (Interstate) I installed a GM one wire Alternator all new. You will notice this car was equipped with dealer optioned AC. It’s all there, I have no idea what it would take to get it running. The underdash unit turns on and blows hard. It’s a cool little car and cheap to drive. This is a very original car including the paint, you have to keep in mind its nearly 50 years old. I happen to like the original paint because it has character. If you want a show car look somewhere else please, this is not your car. The worst rust in the driver's rocker, some bubbles over the driver's rear fender are starting to pop too. The rest of the car is solid and pretty straight. It needs a muffler, driver’s side rocker panel and rear end leaks a little fluid where the drive shaft goes into the rear-end. Please, if you have questions ask! Car is sold AS-IS Clean Florida Title in hand.
