Vehicle Detail
Very reasonable reserve here. Selling my Rokon Trailbreaker. Technically it is a Moto-Tractor. Both wheels drive and it is impossible to get stuck. This is a 2005 year model, but I bought it new in September of 2006 fresh out of the crate. I bought this primarily for taking to Colorado to use on the pack mule/dirt bike trails that it is legal for. I was planning to use it to help haul out elk or mule deer when I go hunting, but unfortunately it has never been used for that. It runs very well and cranks right up. It is idling a little high right now and can be adjusted, but I am not a small engine expert and don't know exactly how to fine tune it. I took it out west 3 times and rode trails and forrest roads to access and use it around home a few times a year only to play around on and pull my little mulch trailer to where I spread it. I don't know exactly, but this probably has less than 50 hours total on it. There is no hour meter or odometer so I'm giving my best honest guess here. It has a Kohler engine and you can pull the specs on www.rokon.com. I believe it's 6.6 HP. It's rated to haul 1,000 lbs and tow like 3,000 IIRC. It is a little beast and will go through anything. Watch videos on the net. These things will climb a tree. Both wheels drive, it will go where 4 wheelers couldn't get to. The wheels are hollow and can hold drinking water or more gas. I never filled them with anything. It will float if you want to go across a river that you can touch bottom of. It has a spark arrestor on the muffler so it is US Forest Service approved. It has 3 gears to choose from. Low, Medium, and High. It might top out at 30 down hill in high range. It is not designed for speed, but for torque and mobility. I hate to part with it, but just don't use it enough and need cash. Will climb grades steeper than you can hang onto it on and the power is amazing out of such a small engine. It's extras are the tool bag and brush guards. It is missing the decals from the gas tank. They weren't really put on well and just came off. I have kept this in the garage over the years so it is in pretty good shape overall. You can tell by the tires. They are the original tires that came on it. That should tell you how little it's been used. I also have a high altitude jet for the carb. It does have a new chain/hitch on the back and a new chain cover on the front. The taillight is also new because I broke the lens cover with my framepack strapped on the backseat, but it is not coming on right now when brake levers pulled. Never bothered me because it's not a street machine anyway so I never looked further into it, but I think the small wire that attaches to the brake levers came loose when it was fairly new and I never tried to reattach. I modified it a little by adding a battery into the loop between the magneto and the head light. IMO this is an upgrade. The original set up has the magneto powering the headlight when you have the switch on and running, but it varies the light intensity by how much you are on the throttle which drove me nuts because it would dim and brighten while riding based on rpm's. By adding a battery, when charged, the light can be turned on when not running and while riding it, the light is a constant power and is bright instead of being dim and bright. The magneto will charge the battery, but I just don't ride it enough to keep it charged. If you have questions, please ask. I will try to take some better pictures in the daylight and post them or email them to interested bidders. I don't have a way to crate it and ship, so this will be pick up only. I will list locally also so may pull early. Payment will be through Paypal or cash only. $500 deposit due upon winning the auction. Happy bidding. On Jan-01-14 at 11:37:06 PST, seller added the following information:
