This is a rare 1952 Cadillac Convertible, Golden Anniversary. The original owner was the Mexican Ambassador to Switzerland in 1952. He ordered this car from General Motors while serving as Ambassador to Switzerland. The car has two General Motors data plates on the firewall, one in French and the other in English. The speedometer and odometer is in kilometers. The odometer shows 75,552 kilometers (46,955 original miles). I have the original owner's documentation in French and also in Spanish when the Ambassador returned to Mexico City. I have had this car in storage for 30 years along with other cars I had. I recently removed the car from storage and changed all the fluids and put in fresh fluids, oil and filter, and started it up. It started right up with no problem. The engine runs and sounds good. The interior is very nice to be original. The floor is solid but needs patch panels in some areas. The original top material needs to be replaced. The top assembly is in very good condition. Side trim and parts not seen in photos I have.. I have a clear title in my name. The car needs restoration.
