Up for Sale is a 1970 VW / Volkswagen Bug Convertible - Yellow exterior with a black convertible top and a black vinyl interior. This is a USED vehicle, NEEDS WORK - this is a project, you will not be able to drive this one home - plan to pick-up with a trailer. Everything seems to be there, floors/heater channels need work (see pics - both sides are like the pics shown) - I have new floor sheet metal and floor reinforcement sections. I was told that the engine had been rebuilt professionally by a local VW rebuild shop before the previous owner parked the car, I have never driven this car other than onto and off of the trailer (as it was being pushed, not running). Convertible top needs to be replaced too - dry and older. Car tags are up-to-date, car not driven on the road but Oklahoma "black tagged" - just to keep the title and tags current and up to date. Car body has some minor scratches and dents and some rust on the upper body (fenders only, I think - looks like someone repaired and re-painted the fenders at some time, stripped them down to bare metal and then did a poor prep job before painting, surface rust on some fender areas has started to show thru)), but still very presentable - please see the pictures for more details. I believe I also have some additional rear fenders for the car, they will go with the car along with the sheet metal for the floors.We had planned to rebuild this car for my wife but we just haven't gotten there and I have two other projects in front of this one, so I just need to let this one go and we will search for another some time in the future. This is a 4 cylinder, air cooled car with a 4 speed manual transmission.
