1974 Jaguar E-Type has been lovingly restored to original condition. Unfortunately the car was garage stored for 7 years and not driven. The car is now being sold for a friend. As a professional mechanic, I have inspected the car and found it to be in excellent mechanical condition, although I did replace the pinion seal, all brake hoses, brake pads, and all cooling system hoses. All four carburetors have been rebuilt and the gas tank has been removed and cleaned. The fuel lines have been cleaned out and the steering rack has been rebuilt. Both brake master cylinders and the booster have been replaced. Typical as English cars are, it may have occasional oil drips. The engine bay is exceptional clean and appears new. The car runs and drives wonderfully with no known problems. The British Racing Green body is in very good condition with no visible rust and very few nicks and scratches that are not obvious. The biscuit interior and black top are new. The tires are in very good condition with no apparent dry rot but are at least 7 to 8 years old. This is a car that I believe is turn-key and ready to drive away. The car is sold as-is, with no warranty. Serious buyers are welcome to inspect the car in person or send an inspector to form your own opinion of its condition. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
