1998 Volkswagon Jetta GT NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Up for sale is a 98 VW Jetta GT. This by no means is a show car, but if your looking for something cheap, extremely reliable, and great on gas....this is a perfect match. This car has been a great little car the entire time I've owned it and starts right up every time I need to go for a drive. Its not the most perfect looking car visually with some surface rust and a few dings and dents, but the body and floor pans are solid. The engine runs really strong, the oil was changed and the fluids were checked less than 1000 miles ago. It does not leak any oil either. The transmission works just fine with no signs of excessive wear and tear. It shifts into gear just fine with no grinding at all. The only thing I would have to note is the shifter is a little stiff when shifting. I was told it just needed some WD40 sprayed on the shifter bushings area to loosen it up a little bit. This DOES NOT have any effect on the drivability of the car at all, just want to make sure there are no surprises for whoever buys this vehicle. The interior of the car in in really good shape. The seats only show minor everyday wear and tear with no holes or rips in them and the carpet is in pretty good shape as well. The heat works exceptionally well and doesnt take long for the car to warm up either (which is great for the winter months here in MI)This car does come with a set of heavy duty floor mats. The Trunk has plenty of space and the spare tire is there with all of the OEM equipment to change it as well. Bottom line, if your looking for a great daily driver that's affordable, or you know how to do body work and are looking for a car to flip, this would be a perfect candidate. Its a comfortable car going down the road and drives very nice for the age and mileage. Be confident in bidding on this one. I am willing to ship this car at the buyers expense.
