1964 Chevrolet impala wagon Engine- The car has what looks to be its original 283 small block v-8, it runs smooth as silk, it starts right up and you can barely hear it running, it has a 2 barrel carb, the car runs great doesn't use oil or smoke Trans- The car has a 3 speed on the column transmission. It shifts good and the clutch is good Body- As far as I can tell the cars body is all original, the paint has lost its shine and is thin in a few places but it has that patina everybody likes, the car has some rust but its overall solid, the only areas I would fix is the passenger front floor pan is rusted through, and the area between the tailgate and body of the car has some rust, who ever buys this car is prolly not going to restore it but just drive it and enjoy it like I have, the body lines are all straight and line up perfect like any 89k nile car should, the undercarriage all looks good, all the glass is good but the windshield has a hairline crack as you can see in the pics. The tailgate has some rust on the bottom, the tailgate glass rolls up and down good but the handle is wore out so I use a socket to move it. All the doors shut nice and tight Interior- The car has a nice mostly original interior, the seats look great, the carpet is faded and the headliner sags in a few spots, the dash looks great, all the inside lights work on the car even the dome light. Everything works like it did in 1964. Wheels/tires- I put a set of torque trust II wheels on the car, it gives it the classic hot rod look, the tires are good This car is ready to hit the road, whoever gets it will not be disappointed with how it runs and drives, it could easily be used as a daily driver its that good. With only 89k miles its just like you would expect. The car has power brakes also. The speedo works as does the gas gauge, all the headlights/Taillights and turn signals work also. Its just a good old you can jump in and drive and take the whole family with you. It has a clear title ready to go.
