This truck was rebuilt about 6 yrs ago, by me. It has new tires, new power disc brakes, power steering, airconditioning, stereo, new roller bearings on the spindles instead of ball bearings. The wheels and hub caps are showing signs of rust, from not enough time spent with the old girl lately. The motor has been gone through, and new valve guides and hardened valve seats put in the head for unleaded gas. It has fenton headers, and aluminim intake with 390 cfm Holley 4 bbl.carb. It also has a prelube pump installed to prelube the motor, before starting after a long time setting. This reduces 90% of engine wear at start up. The paint is smooth as glass and really POPS in the sunlight. All of the glass has been replace except for the back glass. It has oak bed floors with polished stainless steel runners. It has a new wiring harness also. The best of everything was used to build this truck. It is solid steel, not full of bondo, or fibre-glass. I have over $25000 invested in this rare beauty. The headlights,(single in dual fender) expanded metal grill, instead of mustache grill, and the front bumper, are the exterior clues that this truck is special. The interior has the chevy dash with the GMC logo. These trucks were sold stripped to save the fleet buyer money.(military) Most civilians opted for the "normal" set up. So not too many of the beauties left in the wild. I am the third owner of this truck.
