Vehicle Detail

1989 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z for sale. Current state: 350c.i. (5.7L) V8 (ZZ4 crate engine) with TPI, currently not running. We think it is a cracked piston and I don't want to take on another project to fix. Great car once fixed, all kinds of goodies. Has a Vortech supercharger, T56 6 speed manual transmission, SLP 1 5/8 jet coated headers, 3'' Catco Cat, 3'' Hooker Aerochamber Exhaust. Red interior mostly converted to black, couple red pieces still need to be changed to black. 17'' SLP ZR1 wheels with good tires. 4 wheel disc brakes. Original: 350c.i. (5.7L) V8 (L98 TPI). 4 wheel disc brakes, dual cats originally, 700R4 automatic transmission. White exterior with red and black interior. Lots of additional parts that can go with it or not, depending on the deal. For example, I still have the original 16x8 Camaro IROC-Z wheels with tires on them. Perfect car if you want a project, tens of thousands of dollars invested into this car. I just don't have the time and money to take on the project. Needs the cracked piston fixed, a good cleaning, and you have a great car here! Contact me with any questions! On Dec-16-13 at 12:55:36 PST, seller added the following information: Current state: 350c.i. (5.7L) V8 (ZZ4 crate engine) with TPI, currently not running. Parting it out? Taking a piece or two like the T56 and/or supercharger to use in a different car? I ask because I was cleaning the car for the highest bidder and removing a PlastiDip racing stripe off of the car which didn't look that great. While doing that, some of the paint, ONLY on the front plastic bumper portion, came off with the stripe. A body shop should be able to fix this for less than $500, it's just some paint on a plastic bumper. Another way to go would be to cover it with a bra. I still think this will be a great project car: it needs the engine work as described and this paint fixed on the front bumper. From there, you'll have a great looking, 450+hp 3rd gen Camaro. What are your intentions for the car & what would you like to do? I know some bidders are planning on taking the T56/SC & using in a different car and won't care about the paint.Feel free to contact me to discuss or withdraw your bid. I apologize for the inconvenience.
