BACKSTORY This vehicle was acquired from a local couple who have two teenage children that are getting ready to get thier drivers licenses and the parents decided it was just too much temptation to keep this car around (not to mention what would happen to thier insurance rates...) If it hadnt been for the kids (the sacrafices we make...) they would have kept the car for sure. EXTERIOR What can I tell you... this metallic blue is BEAUTIFUL! The Corvette red calipers help set it off and it doesnt go un-noticed. This thing gets so many compliments it is almost ridiculous. Overall, the exterior is in pretty nice shape for a 2006. The black top and rear window are perfect, and It even has the lower front spoiler that is usually accidently smashed the first few months of ownership. The tires are brand new and the polished aluminum rims are in good shape at all four corners. We got rid of the Goodyear Eagle runflats and went with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s all the way around and it RIDES LIKE A DREAM! It is literally a night and day difference. If you like a vette with the Eagle RFs, youll LOVE the way this feels. INTERIOR The first interior thing that someone buying a vette usually looks at is the drivers seat left lumbar support. These are generally the first to go. These seats were well taken care of and while they show regular wear, there are no rips or tears. Please see the appropriate photo for reference. When you are not listening to the grumble of the 6.0 liter 400hp V-8, you can jam to your favorite tunes with the upgraded audio system with both SAT and NAV. If you should happen to share your vette, it does have two memory positions for the drivers settings. This car also has the Heads-Up Display (HUD) for the driver with multiple display options including Street and Track configurations. The dual-zone climate control is nice and the air blows ice cold! The vehicle comes with original owners manual, books, NAV disk, two key fobs and one physical key. MECHANICALS In conjunction with a thorough physical inspection, the car was scanned via OBDII and returned no fault codes. It idles smooth and runs strong. The brake pads were replaced at all four corners and rotors turned. The pedal feel is smooth and the car stops well. IN CLOSING This vette will make someone a GREAT daily driver or weekend warrior.
