This 1970 Chevy C-10 Custom is pretty much all original. It has had one repaint in the late 80's. It has the original numbers matching 350 engine with the original 4 barrel carburator.Original 350 transmission.The original owner purchased this truck new in Atlanta ga, and pampered it up until the time he was not able to drive. It sat parked in his car porch from 2007 until this year when I purchased it {and it wasnt cheap}.I drained and cleaned the fuel tank,complete tune up with new points,wires,plugs.cap and rotor.Replaced all the wheel cylinders,brake shoes ,all new brake hardware,and new brake hoses front and rear. Truck starts up, runs,shifts, and drives like new.It had the ram horn manifolds but they both had cracks so I replaced them with new headers with Flowmaster mufflers and ran the pipes to exit in front of the tires. I replaced the factory wheels with a set of 20 inch wheels that are in good shape{one new tire, the others are good for a couple thousand miles }. I removed the AC since it wasnt working plus to use the headers.Truck has power steering,power brakes,AC cab.I put in a new heater core with new hoses and belts.I purchesed this truck touse it as a shop/run to the junk yard truck, Im a Ford man and driving a Chevrolet is not something I seem to be able to get use to.This truck has a little body damage to the passenge side of the bed. Was told that he ran in to it with his tractor.Other than that its straight and solid.Floors,cab,bed,doors are all solid.Included with the sale are the original wheels with all the caps and beauty rings. Tires have a lot of tread but dry rotted from sitting.Comes with the AC and all brackes that was removed.And also comes with the original jack and lug wrench.The only thing wrong with the interior is the dash pad. Im looking for a Ford truck 1940's-1950's__{TRADE ?______ may be considered. Truck comes with original paper work,owners manual,and DATA PLATE.On Dec-12-13 at 18:53:12 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that I also put a new master cylinder on the truck.Windows are clear and not cracked or foged up.AsI mentioned previously, very solid and straight with the exception to the little damage to the bed.No rust in the bed which is still painted red !! Finding an original 1970 truck in this condition will not be easy and dont exspect to find one for cheap that you can jump right in and drive.Feel free to ask any questions or request a photo of a spacific area.I will do my best to get it posted and answer any question.
