Vehicle Detail
Here is a very clean car that has been stored away for quite some time. The title I got was dated 1983 and I found pay stubs and various receipts in the car all dated no later than 1983. I can find nothing that makes me believe this car has been on the road since. It is a factory 390 4 speed car with the GO PACKAGE Yes!! It has the limited slip rear end and the disk brakes and the right gauge package. The Tack works!! This car is also equipped with the optional saddle leather interior. The original motor has been replaced with a 304. The engine tag on the 304 indicates it was built Oct 1970 so again I can find nothing on this car past 1983. I do not know why the original engine was replaced, it was done very neatly and I mean neatly. The original power steering pump and what appears to be original exhaust are all there. The wiring is all there and as it should be. The motor starts and runs and sounds good. I also took a picture showing under the dash, its very clean and unmolested. the glove box is not on the car because the lock was stuck, I unbolted the hinges and removed it. I have it and its in fine shape. This car has no front calipers, they are gone and I do not know why and also as you can see the original hood is not on it. It is a very nice quality fiberglass hood. The door glass is not in the doors, the glue that held them to the track has dried up and they have come loose they were removed to prevent them from getting damaged if someone shut a door to hard. I have them. The body on this car is exceptional for being a 44 year old car. I took plenty of pictures so you can see. The only spots on the floor are the small area right behind the seats that is very common. The paint you see on the car is the factory paint, it has had no repaints. It's orange with factory black stripes. You will also note that this car has a few attributes more commonly found on a 1968, one being the instrument panel. I969 was hooded; this car is as it came from the factory other than hood and long block. It was built in the 3ard week of October 1968 thus making it a very early 69. If you put all the facts about this car together it actually makes it a very unique and interesting car!! I have sold a few cars the I really wish I had back, I can see this car being on that list but I also have a jeep Scrambler partially built with a lot of modifications done to it. I have it for sale elsewhere and if it sells first then I may keep this car. I am not selling this to pawn off something I do not want on to someone else, I simply do not have the room I use to have. This car is being sold as a restoration project, there is no warranty expressed or implied. On Dec-05-13 at 17:49:49 PST, seller added the following information: Here is the door tag numbers Body RO10476 Model 6939-7 Trim 936L paint 79A The bottom number appears to be E025542 The number on the dash plaque is 10820
