Perfect original all steel 1942 2 1/2 ton pick up truck cab, 1950's long bed box assembly placed on a 2002 Chev S10 Extreem extended cab pick up rolling/running chassis. Complete S10 truck less body was used for the chassis and running gear. I did not cut one wire of the original harness, so that it could be equiped with all the accessories the original truck had. Have not installed the power window or locks, heater and A/C system. I have the original heater, dash and many of the other original '42 parts along with all the S10 heater, A/C plenum, blower and related. Truck runs and drives but needs finished. Wiring, heat/AC,brackets and final trim need to be completed. Engine runs great, trans shifts well and 4WD works perfectly. New oak bed kit is installed with all new stainless hardware used. Entire cab assembled with new stainless hardware also. Upgraded front and rear lighting was done with LED lighting....very cool! S10 bucket seats replaced original bench. Dash cluster is S10, but I have the original dash cluster. 31 10.5 15 tires on factory GM mag wheels with 80% plus tread on them. This is a very cool project but I have so many other ongoing projects, some just need to go. Finish this the way you want! Paint is in great shape for I'm guessing 40 years old or so. I have black primered spots that were scratched, but absolutly NO RUST on cab or bed! Was in a local barn for over 40 years, in pieces when I got her. Fresh painted trim with a new headliner is installed. I have the original hood side trim pieces, but a few clips are needed to install. Custom air horns and new high imput air cleaner and tube with factory air mass sensor installed. I will include all parts I have for this project. I have a clean Il title for the S10 and bills of sale for the cab and bed. Free pick up at our East Peoria, Il location. Cash or PayPal only.
