This Civic Hybrid features the Auto-Stop technology that is just now making it to the other car brands. When coming to a stop, the engine shuts off to conserve fuel. The engine begins running again after the brake pedal is released. It sounds like it would be extremely noticeable, but it is SEAMLESS. Car runs very quietly (especially for a small 4 cyl engine). CVT transmission, which is also just making it to other car brands, shifts seamlessly as well. The Hybrid battery features 20hp Assist for the gasoline engine - runs on battery on low speeds and assists in power when needed for the main engine. Honda technology, Honda reliability.....this is a long-term payoff for a VERY affordable previously-owned price! Very reasonably priced - $1550 below NADA value! PLUS- NO DEALER FEES/Taxes!
