DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU WILL PAY AND TOW AWAY!!!!! NO TIME WASTERS OR TIRE KICKERS!!! Up for grabs today is a 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager van in need of repirs!! The rear axle broke as I was driving home from work about a week ago. I managed to limp the van home and assess the damage. As seen in the photos, the rear axle must have been developing a fatigue crack and finally gave out on me. I have owned the van since mid-2009 and it had been a reliable van to get me to and from work. It had 101K miles on the odometer and now has 176K on her. It has been adult owned and properly maintained its whole life. It’s ugly and rusty but never left me stranded. Here is the list of work that I have done to it since owning: 02/2010: New rear spring bushings and shackles, new rear wiper motor. 08/2010: new rear brake lines and LR wheel cylinder 02/2011: New Rack&Pinion, new P.S. lines and new P.S. pump, major tune up done. 10/2012: New front tires, 1 new rear drum/ 1 recut drum with new rear brakes and new brake hardware, new metallic front brake pads and new front discs, new RR wheel cylinder, front end alignment, new emergency brake cable. 01/2013: New waterpump, new alternator and serpentine belt, cooling system flushed and refilled. 07/2013: New exhaust system. Now for the bad stuff: Driver’s side door window does not go down all the way and lock must have key turned to left while lifting handle in order to open door, oil pan drain plug treads stripped & need to be re-tapped for larger size plug, AC system needs recharge, rear axle needs to be replaced and rear brake lines repaired and rebleed. She’s not much to look at but does run decently and does get you to where you have to go. I’ve inherited a newer ride so I just didn’t feel like going through the job of fixing her anymore. I saw some replacement axles going for $350 and up from some salvage yards so I’m sure someone with more time than me could bring her back to road-worthiness. Stupid low starting price for this van; I want it gone, either from a new owner or it’s going to the salvage yard. I have ALL the receipts from the parts and work done to her so I can back up my claims of the work. Thanks for looking. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
