You are bidding on this 2002 Dodge 1500 Cargo Van. This van is being sold as is. I have taken a lot of pictures so You can clearly see the condition this van is in. It will be really difficult for me to list each and every thing that is wrong with this van. Cosmetically I am going to go ahead and say this. Please do not expect too much. She is in the kind of shape expected of a van that has been driven 170,000 miles. The largest real concern is there is rust in the bottom of the cargo space. The rust has eaten a hole through the base ( can very easily be patched up, but you can see the ground from the inside of the cargo space. The open space is the size of an envelope and it is on both sides of the van. However,There is good news. This van starts right up and drives pretty well. There is a hesitation, and the van kinda shakes when you try to accelerate but it goes through that and does actually accelerate. The drive can be a little rough because of that shake. There is a weird feel about the acceleration of the van when it is first starting off. As if it does not wonna go or shift, but I am not at all saying this van has a transmission problem. I am saying that it starts and will take you to where you wonna go. I have driven it for hours at a time, and of you are the winning bidder, do not hesitate to plan on coming to columbus and driving it back. ( if you are from a neighboring state ) Not sure I would recommend driving it back to florida or something like that. In all honestly, it may really be something simple, like the injectors need to be cleaned our, or some sort of oxygen intake valve. Not sure. I would rate it's drivabilty as 6.5/10 and rate it cosmetically as 4/10. Now more good news. The tires are less than 3 months old, this thing has power windows, locks etc etc and everything works. This is the perfect work Van where you really dont need to worry about much except throwing your tools in the back and going to work. Worst case scenerio, I am starting the bid at less than the value of the van is in just scrap metal.
