Up for auction is my 1986 CR 500 that is a full blown race restoration. Let's start with the motor - every bearing, seal, and gasket has been replaced. It has a new top end with 170+ psi of compression and the cooling system is beautiful along with the radiators. The suspension was reworked and has good dampening on both ends. The bike retains all of its original Honda plastic and it's beautiful. The rims are powder coated black with new bearings. It starts easily, shifts good, stops good and will dig a trench in any gear. For those of you that don't know the 1986 Honda CR 500 - it is known to be the most powerful CR with the highest hp out of all the CR 500's and this bike will prove that.The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at my discretion.
