Vehicle Detail

Excellent condition, rust free low-mileage (51,330) 65 Plymouth Fury II with the original 383 2bbl engine/727 automatic transmission on the column and original 3.23 open 8 3/4 rearend. Manual brakes (large 11"), manual steering, no A/C, no power windows, and upholstery is in excellent condition. Runs great, purrs like a kitten, and can be driven anywhere at anytime with no worries, hassles, or fear of breaking down. Cranks and starts extremely quick...within a couple of seconds when extremely cold, or within the first couple of revolutions when it's warm...never fails. Doesn't smoke or make any weird noises...again, extremely solid car that runs just like it did the day it was driven off the dealer's lot. Car is extremely solid and you will get tons of compliments at any place you arrive at...gas stations to car shows, this car turns heads. Everything on the car works, AM radio - works, all the gauges - work, all the lights - work...nothing wrong with this car. Clean, clear Illinois title. Here is the list of items I replaced so driveability wouldn't be an issue...all of the original equipment worked, I just wanted to ensure no break downs: NEW within the last 4 months: AlternatorFuel PumpFuel tank sending unitDistributor with Pertronix Electronic ignition installedBrake Master CylinderBatteryWater PumpTires (mileage less than 3k)CarpetFloor MatsVoltage RegulatorFuel FilterTransmission FilterAll Hoses - radiator, fuel, heater, etc.All 4 Shocks - Air Shocks on rearOil PumpThermostat (180 degree)Spare TireTuneup w/new plugsAll 6 freeze plugs replaced I have the original air cleaner and valve covers, they will go with the car. No rust on quarter panels, trunk floor, etc...this car has always been parked inside and it shows. I have the Chrysler Historical Society documentation showing the car was originally sold in Knoxville, TN and has been in East Tennessee its entire life (I life in Knoxville and that's where I bought the car). No reasonable offer refused...car is in storage (in Illinois), so it may take a couple of days if you need extra pictures. Buyer is responsible for picking up the car in St. Elmo, IL.
