1970 Honda CL

For auction an unmolested Honda CL450 Scrambler with clear VA title. Bike has 12,547 original miles and I am the second owner. Purchased this bike last year from the previous owner who had the bike stored in his garage, and had my mechanic go over the bike. According to my mechanic (who has been working on Hondas since the 60s) this is one of the nicest (mechanically) CLs he has come across. Bike is in excellent running condition and starts easily on the first or second kick. Bike has the tires that were on it when I purchased it so for safety sake I would suggest replacing them. Bike is in overall good condition (please see photos), but the gas tank was unfortunately the victim of a bad POR job and will need to have the bad POR coat removed and refinished-POR did spill onto exterior of tank. Petcock is rebuilt and is currently out of the tank. Overall a great bike I just have far to many projects and this was hit the chopping block. With very little work this can be an awesome bike-again bike IS currently running and very well at that. Only issue is with the tank. Bike can be viewed in person if arrangements are made. I have no problem helping facilitate a shipment or can deliver within reason (mileage) for an agreed upon rate (please contact ahead of time). Feel free to ask any and all questions! On Nov-15-13 at 05:18:44 PST, seller added the following information: Update-I pulled the title out to look at it last night and noticed that it was retitled in 72-contacted the person I purchased it from and he had provided me incorrect info he was actually the 2nd owner and had purchased it from his good friend.
