HELLO EVERYONE !!!! well its time to sell this sweet little truck my grandpas been building for years lets start by telling you about it .it is a nice rust free 1954 gmc 150 5 window deluxe it started out all original blue or kinda greenish blue back in 1954 with inline six and manuel trans when it was built and the first owner sold it to grandpa he picked it up in the 70s and drove it very little he had a 1959 oldsmobile super 88 that he liked to drive alittle more well the years went by and grandpas oldsmobile started to get used and rusty and so he decided to park it under the tree out back and drive the truck well about 6 years later the motor froze up and being the old hotrodder he was he took out the inline six and rebuilt the olds rocket from his super 88 and installed it in his old truck trans and all... hey was a true blood hotrodder he drove it for a couple years of and on to the store and shows and such and then well one day he just parked it for a unknown reason (I think it was his new wife) . well years went buy and new cars came and went with the new wife ! but grandpa kept this old truck in the carport just waiting for god only knows who or what to happen !!! well years later grandpa went to go see grandma and he parted with this life !!!but he had a will and he left it to the family but nobody knew what to do with it so it sat for a couple years then I took it over after I cleaned out the gas tank (it had been parked for a few years )put in a new battery had new key made it fired right up so I did some light body work on a very few dents it had and gave it a fresh primer paint job. then tuned up the motor with new plugs and wires and fuel filter and I change the oil and transmission fluid. I also went thru the brakes rebuilt the wheel cylinders and added new brakes then i painted the inside of the cab and replaced the wood in the bed and then I bought some cool wheels for it and started to get it ready for car shows!!!! but then life happened and kids got in the way and now I just don't have time for it so we have decided to see what we can get for it on ebay from a one time listing !! well as you can see it has been around us all for along time and we know a lot about this old truck so if you have any questions please ask!!! I can tell you that it runs and drives great has (no rust holes) it did however have a little surface rust in some places from sitting but that is now gone all the gages and lights and speedo work and function on 12 volt power and heater works well as it should doors open and close nice but don't lock never made key for door locks .. I have included lots of pics of before and after and current condition while I worked on it .... please if you buy this truck take care of it and give it a loving home for grandpa!!
