This Beautiful Z has just under went a complete restore top to bottom . I took it down to a bare body shell and brought it back up to better then new condition . As stated above this is a Mild Custom bodied Z , modification include . Filled rear bumper . Filled side marker lights . Filler quarter vents . Shaved drip rails on roof . Welded and filled front head light extensions . All this to enhance a smooth aerodynamic look . Suspension has all been rebuilt with new struts front and rear ,one full spring coil cut to lower stance 2 inches . Everything taken apart and cleaned painted and lubed . New brake and clutch hydraulics , new rear shoes . Front brakes were in great condition so just cleaned and painted . Engine 280Z [ could use valve seals as leaks down over night but clears up once driven ] 4 speed trans and R200 3.36-1 rear end are as I bought the car , everything cleaned and repainted - detailed ETC. I have no history on engine other then I found tags from a re-builder on engine , block code is F54 , N42 head code , research tells me this is a good combination . I'm running duel Weber Carbs with K@N filters and a ceramic coated header from Motor Sports and new mufflers also a Polished Valve cover . The radiator is new Aluminum . These Z's can be a wiring night mare so I've rewired the car starting with a 20 fuse block from NAPA and working out from there . Very simplified and easy to maintain . Also new NAPA battery . The interior is new and also Mild Custom with new suede look micro fiber bolstered seats , black with red stitching . The carpet kit is new and special ordered so I could not retain original council which is still available with car . The door panels and headliner are also suede to match the seats . All new rubber seals through out New windshield also . The dash has a cover that fits perfectly . There are original gauges . There is No Heater as I had planed on replacing the original with after market Heat - AC from Southern Rods [ kit $650 plus installation ] , the original heating system was trash and all the factory AC was missing . I do have a small after market heater that would work if you don't want AC . The wheels are 14" Konig's with new Michelin tires . I'm offering this great looking Z for the price of the parts to restore . I had a guy do the buy now price of $5450 and that deal fell through because of NO MONEY . After adding up my receipts I found that I have to bump the price to $5950 . This car is offered locally so I reserve the right to cancel auction if Sold . I live in a rural area with some curvy roads . This Z handles those curves great and literally HAULS ASS . Just driven this morning and what FUN . Doesn't smoke after warmed up .
