YOU TUBE VIDEO LINK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ky_ZOfyzCFU Ok so here we go, brief & detailed description of the car. 1995 Honda Civic DX, 5 speed, No Powersteering, A/C, 170K mi which is pretty good for the year. Stock cluster no longer on the car has integra type r cluster with kilometers not miles. This Civic fills up with 30 on empty & gets 28-30 mpg city 35-40 mpg highway. Please read the full details below, broken up in sections for easier reading. How my brother got the car This car is my brothers car which I have listed on the site, he got the car from a towing company with LIEN SALE paper work! Lien sale paper work is the same a title and he currently has the car registered in his name but does not have the title since the car needs a smog check for DMV to send the title. DMV incomplete registration on hand, all fees paid & up to date! All the needed paper work is on hand, what is needed to transfer ownership would be a Bill of Sale & Vehicle/Vessel Transfer Reassignment Form per the DMV office we went to. We have the form on hand as well, form will be filled out in person at the time of pickup. View the you tube video towards the end of the video and you will see most of the paper work you will be getting. Reason for selling Brother is only selling because he is moving to the east coast & does not want to ship or drive the car over there. He feels that the roads are to beat up & with all the snow it would just eat up the car in time. He will be present at the time of transaction, photo ID will be available if you need to confirm his identity Work that has been done to car is as followed Body Work & Paint This civic has been fully restored and is flawless. It was painted with PPG white toner which is pure white no yellow or tint in the paint, clear coat used was SPI universal clear which is show quality clear coat look it up online has excellent reviews by car enthusiasts. Hood, both fenders left & right, front bumper were replaced. Hood & fenders were replaced because they had dents on them & my brother did not want bondo on the car plus it was cheaper for him to replace rather to pay the body shop a few hours in labor to fix them, parts are CAPA certified parts which fit just like oem. Bumper was replaced because it had a crack on the lower part of the bumper which could not be fixed. All the moldings & door handles were taken off and sprayed with trim black paint, everything was removed except the moldings on the front glass, rear glass & of course the rear quarter glasses. There is a bit of paint on the edge of the moldings which can be taken off with lacquer thinner or a small blade. Civic was wet sanded & buffed to give it the perfect shine! paint looks amazing! No dents or scratches anywhere on the car! Interior The Interior of the car is light grey, nice & clean non smoking car! no rips on the carpet, carpet looks very clean with very small imperfections. Front driver seat has a small tear on the bolster from wear & tear not very noticeable look at the video for a detailed view of it. Rest of the seats are clean no rips or tears, all the seats have the same pattern as well. Integra type R cluster fully working! It was a pain in the butt to get this done right but very well worth it! There is a nice write up we used to get this cluster to fit on this civic, you can find lots of write ups but we used one we found on Honda Tech. Took us about 8 hours to do but it looks like the car came with it. Integra type R clusters light orange at night, this cluster has been modified to light up RED. Climate controls light up RED, Radio lights up Red as well but the radio can be set to any color you want. No hotspots! Nice clean even light distribution, in my opinion it looks bad ass & looks like your in a complete different car. Couldnt get clear pics at night to show they light up RED so you will have to take our word for it. Sorry. Sound system is loud and clear, rockford fosgate speakers all around with a custom 15in ported rockford fosgate p1! Engine Stock D15 non VTEC, runs very smooth. No knocking or smoking from the engine. Does not leak fluids of any kind! Transmission was replaced with an EX/SI transmission. Look at the picture of the transmission code & if you know what your looking at you will see it is an EX/SI transmission, tranny shifts perfect in all gears does not grind or pop out! New Exedy clutch kit was installed when the transmission was replaced as well. Tranny was only replaced because it had a small grind from 2nd to 3rd, new tranny shifts like butter. Tranmission code/stamp is P20-B000 = Si, EX trans which is what is now installed on the car. P20-A000 = DX, CX, VX trans which was the old bad trans. Look it up online if you do not know about these transmission codes. Picture of the tranmisson code/stamp is uploaded on this listing. Power steering pump was removed as well as the lines. Steering rack is fine just the pump & the lines were leaking so my brother decided to remove them since most people with civic like the manual steering setup instead of the power steering set up. Feels alot better with out power steering and the steering wheel is easy to turn at a dead stop since this car is light. A/C componets all there, A/C works just needs a recharge. Small tune up was also done, 4 new NGK spark plugs, New NGK spark plug wires, New fuel filter. Suspension Car has 4 new struts LOTEK with no name coil overs. Car runs nice, stiff but yet pretty good. LOTEK struts are copies of the skunk struts but at the fraction of the cost, these struts are 3 in shorter then the stock struts so these will not blow out. Read some reviews online & my bother decided to give them a try, so far he's happy with them. Front camber control arms & Rear camber links were installed as well to tuck in the wheel & tire setup. Does not rub at full turn, new fender liners were installed as well. Fender liners were heated & reformed in certain areas so it would not rub at full turn. Full alignment was done in all 4 corners to keep the tires from wearing, new outer tie rods installed at the time of alignment. Tires do not have any camber wear! If you hear other complaining about tire wear your setup is not done correctly because this car does not have any tire wear! Needs catalytic converter, rattles sometimes but you can hear it moving around when driving under a load 2. OEM stock manifold unless your smog guy is cool with a non CARB legal header 3. Oil change, we did not change the oil since some people think the engine oil is changed before you sell your car because maybe you just fixed something engine wise. In this case the oil is dark & you can see there is no water in the oil! 4. Smog check, after you smog the car which you have to do anyways after purchasing a used vehicle you will get the title in the mail 5. Trunk emblem, missing off the car since purchased 6. Needs new foglight switch. Theres a nice write up on Honda Tech that shows you how to wire up the fogs to an OEM switch. Cheap china switch does not work anymore! 7. A/C needs to be recharged for it to work.
