There is NO RESERVEI purchased this car this past summer (2013) as a project. Unfortunately, new professional responsibilities strip me of the time needed to invest in to this piece of American History. When I purchased the car, the front of the engine was pulled down to the timing belt cover for me to confirm the block numbers matched the VIN # (NOT Removed). My mechanic was able to start the car off a battery & starting fluid for a few seconds. That was the one and only time the car was started while in my possession. The engine is the origional Pontiac 5.7L V8 with 83,520 original miles, a 2 barrel carburetor & Power Steering . I was told that the transmission was the original Power-glide but have no point of reference or data to confirm the validity. I have a clean NYS Transferable Registration IN MY NAME. Note: In NY, Transferable Registrations act as titles after a certain vehicle age. I believe it is 35 years or so. None the less, it's a title. I have the receipts for all parts I purchased. With the exception of the power steering pump, most of the engine from the timing belt cover forward is either installed or new in the box and part of the auction. The only item not pictured is the center block bolt. This is a matching numbers classic with a rock solid frame and clean paperwork. I believe it to be a rare & excellent canidate to restore to your standards. TERMS OF SALE:A $250 deposit is due within 24 hours of the completion of the auction via pay pal. This is absoutely non negotiable and simply my a measure to remove time wasters from the equation. The car must be picked up and payed for in full no more than 7 days of the auctions completion.
