Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is this awesome 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport clone. Great driver! The car has a bored 30 over 454 under the hood, Muncie M21 four speed transmission (recently rebuilt), 12 bolt positive traction rear-end, rally rims with Cooper white lettered tires, a concealed AM/FM/CD player, headers, and 750 Holley. Most of the interior, including the SS dash componets, seat covers, console, clock, carpet, and trim, is new. The decal on the breather says 396, but it is actually a 461 cubic inch. The cam is a 3/4 racing cam. It has a new 750 Holley and electronic ignition, 331 gears in a 12 bolt rear-end. The car has new Flowmaster mufflers and Hedman headers, new Hurst shift gate and a new Muncie shifter handle. The car does not have power steering or A/C. The car currently has drum brakes. The motor was recently rebuilt and has a little more than 4,500 miles on it. This car has been VERY well documented since 2000 and has NEVER been raced or driven hard. The car does have a few oil drips, as all 45 year old cars do. However, the car does not burn any oil and I have yet to have to add any. This Chevelle has new bumpers, exterior trim, interior trim, super sport steel hood, and 1967 Rally rims. The car was converted from a Malibu and finished up as an SS Chevelle. The paint was already done when we acquired the car and it does show orange peel up close (We have tried to show this in the pictures). The trunk floor and a small spot of the passenger side floor board have been patched. The windshield wipers are not currently working, but I have never had the car out in the rain so I didn't worry about it. The horn does not work and the backup lights are not working. All other lights and electronics are functional. Engine: - 1973 454 (.030 over) - Block casting 3999289 (Hi-perf passenger) - Head casting 353049 (oval port, open chamber, 113cc) - Intake casting A1375 - Crank casting 7416 - Cam-Crane Energizer 3/4 race - Holley 750 carburetor (p/n 0-805085, electric choke) - Mallory HEI ignition and coil Drive train: - Rear end: 1973 Chevelle (3:31 Posi) - Muncie M21 4 speed (casing 3885010, 1963-66, 2.20 1st gear) - Shifter: Hurst (p/n 391-7308) Overall, this isn't a show car, but it's a great car to take out on the weekend. It runs and drives great and it sure does turn heads when people see it coming down the street! A $1,000 deposit through PayPal must be made within 24 hours of the end of the auction and the car must be picked up in Harvest, Alabama within seven days of the end of the auction. The balance must be paid in cash upon pickup of the car. If you have less than ten feedback, please contact us before bidding.
